From Phnom Penh to Thailand via Sihanoukville and Ko Kong in three days

Day 01

Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville  

Departure after breakfast to Sihanoukville , the main beach destination on the coast of Cambodia.

The city is famous for its wonderful beaches and for being the only commercial sea port in the Country.

Arrival after about three hours and check in at hotel.

Afternoon at leisure and overnight at hotel.

Day 02

Sihanoukville            B, L

Breakfast at hotel.

Possibility of excursion to the National Park of Ream, between sea and land, down on the Tak Sap river through a mangrove forest.

Arrival to the beach where lunch box is provided.

Swim, snorkel or relax at leisure before heading back by late afternoon.

Overnight at hotel

Day 03

Sihanoukville - Ko Kong          B

Breakfast.

Departure by land to Ko Kong.

This road is the real reason of this journey.

The road was just opened in 2008 and crosses a mostly not yet explored territory, covered by virgin forests still inhabited by tigers, bears, deers, wild boars, elephants and a lot more still to be discovered.

Arrival in Ko Kong after six – seven hours by excellent roads, then proceeding to the Cambodian – Thai border  crossing of Had Lek Cham Yeam.
